I believe that you are probably right in what you said as to do not use the wizard. However, that is how I got the
input for RowSource. So where may I learn how to put the code in myself without using the Combo Box wizard.

You could follow the guidelines I already gave for manually setting the properties. Form in Design View, select the combobox, set its properties on tabs of Properties Sheet.
