I just gave up trying to figure it out and took the 9335 polices that had a decrease and ran a query to get all records from jun10 that are yy, ny, xy for those policies and did an unmatched query for any subid that didn't show up in jul10 table regardless of yy, ny, xy etc. then manually went through what i got. i will have to figure query correction and all later. my boss wanted this 2 days ago and I told her I can't figure out how to do it so I just needed to get her the end result without playing jump through the hoops. I can jump through hoops and figure it out after she has the final data on how to get to that final data. Of course she is worthless and can't help me cuz I discovered she knows nothing.
