    MS Access 2013 Running Slow

I am developing simple reports in MS Access 2013 and everything I do runs SLOW. I am building reports via the Report Wizard and using queries to populate the report. Any suggestions on how to speed up the development process??? Is there an option to turn off so Access is not trying to run queries behind the scenes?

I can't say that I have experienced the symptom you are describing because I do not use the report wizard. However, I feel it is important to ask if you are designing reports in a Front End application where the data resides on a Backend. If possible, I will copy the BE onto my C drive when developing an application. Another tactic is to maintain a persistence connection via a form in Form View. I will bind a small dataset/table to a form and open it. With the form open in Form View, I will proceed with designing other objects like forms, reports, etc.
