Multiple query criteria

Is it possible for results for two separate query's to be displayed on one form? I have a form for jobs that need attention. Currently it shows jobs that have the start sate before


today and are not 'complete'. These either have to be rescheduled or be updated to say complete.

I want to know now, out of the complete ones, which have got all documentation. I can easily make this query and put it on a sub form. I was wondering if I can combine the results of two separate querys. So anything needing attention is in one place.

FAILING THAT... Is it possible to have dynamic sub forms? I could have two sub forms which auto adjust size depending on the amount of results in them, So if it had one it would be small and If it had many it would expand.

So, you want to combine your two queries into one?

One way is with a Union Query (see: http://www.fabalou.com/access/queries/unionquery.asp). Note though that kind of query is not updateable.

If you want to try to combine both into a single query that is updateable, please post the SQL code for each of your two queries here.

Okay, When I have the second query made ill do that.

You could:
1) have 2 sub forms on the form
2) have a tab control and have a separate sub form on each tab
3) have two list boxes on the form and have the double click event open the correct form for editing the data.

Option 3 would be my favorite.... you can see the data and still be able to edit it.

Forms do not grow or shrink - that's why they have scroll bars.

Thanks for your suggestion ssanfu. I didn't think of using a list box in this case.

june -thanks for the information. I wouldn't assume they couldn't just because they have scroll bars though.
