Main report with horizontal subreport. Cannot configure right. Attachment pics included...

    Reports.zip

There is a Main report with horizontal Subreport (5 columns, with Down, then Across).
In each page of main report, i need static labels on the left of the whole subreport.
While the subreport prints ok on its own (horizontally), it behaves strangely when in main report.
    Please, see attached printscreens.

Also when the subreport is placed in the main report the design is saved,
    i loose the 5 column setting , leaving columns=1

    Real help is needed.

    TIA

Try across then down in the multi-column 'snaking'. http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/o...05e75f6?auth=1

I provide part of my DB for testing my case. See attachment.

Look the rpt_detail (my subform) on its own first. See that it displays 10 records horizontally

Then see rpt_master and then... help me!

    TIA

Likely can't get this to work as subreport. Seems I've tried and given up before.

The subreport RecordSource has the syskeuasia table. Use the subreport alone. I think the syskeuasia table fields have to go into detail section. Set the PageSetup column size to 1 and uncheck the SameAsDetail box.

Change the report PageHeader property to All Pages.

However, getting all the data with the syskeuasia fields to display in the narrow columns doesn't look possible.

Even with the report/subreport arrangement, putting the syskeuasia data into Page header section doesn't really make sense.

I couldn't do anything either, although what I' m asking for seems pretty trivial for Access reporting.

I have considered another way to do it. Can anyone see my new report design and help please?

I could make the subreport work as standalone except for the left side labels. And the columns are so narrow for display of the syskeuasia data.

I am not aware of any report settings or VBA code that could manage your redesign.
