Values being nulled when referenced in a query

The problem that I am having is that when I create a query that is referencing values from a specific field in a specific table it nulls the values in that Field and that Field only. The field that the values are being referenced from does have values and therefore you would think that they would appear in the field within the query.

null * anything is null. (or any operation)
you can convert them to zero

nz([field]) * [field2]
