Exclamation calculation fields of 2 different queries

In the attendance query I count the # of attendees
In the doubles query I find how many double attendees there are
if John has 3 double and Mary has 6 doubles there is a total of 9 doubles
but I have to count John and Mary with one attendance.

so if there is 100 attendees and 9 doubles and I have to count John and Mary once that makes 93 attendees.

is there a way to combined these queries to calculate the total of 93 attendees?

    I don't see the problem...
count unique attendees should give you 93 attendees.

I looked for that expression I found DCount. WHen I put in DCount([Name]) it does not work can you hale me out? I want to add the unique in the name field of the attendance query>

I tried this «Expr» "DCount [StDevOfNameFID] From [Attendance Query]"
    Says invalid syntax

You should do research on syntax and use of domain aggregate functions (DCount, DSum, DLookup, etc). In general:

Dfunction("field name", "table name", "filter criteria here - optional argument")

What do mean by 'double attendees' - define this.

Provide sample raw data and desired output.
