    DB Replica question

I created a replica with the back end database, all was going well at one point i messed up something and got a lot of conflicts, so instead of resolving all of them i just created another replica all is fine now, however when i click synchronize now, the dialog box still defaults to the old one ( its where it says synchronize directly with replica, then there's the drop down box) and i have to use the drop down box and select the new one. This isn't a problem for me, but a few other people use it and don't pay attention and don't change it. Is there a way to make the new one default as the first one on the list, or remove the old one. Ive looked through all the options on both the back end and the main replica that it synchronizes to and cant find anything. It seems that access or windows has to be storing this information somewhere.

Access 2007, windows vista. back end is a .mdb file format

    Thanks all.

not sure if you have access to the facility in 2007 but in 2003 you would convert a replica to a master and then create all new replicas from that - all the old replicas would become unuseable in the sense they will no longer be able to be synchronised

The replica works fine when synchronized i am using the 2003 .mdb for the back end of the database, i have completely deleted the first master and created a new one. The only problem is that in the dialog box still shows the old one as the first one in the list and i have to select to new one every time. I have also tried checking the box under the drop down list that says "make this database the design master" but it still defaults to the old one.

i found the solution, seem all you have to do is try to sync to the old replica and access will remove it for you. Thanks for viewing.
