MS Access Navigation Pane disables buttons

I've created a database in MS Access 2007.

There are buttons I use to close one form and open another.
I use this method to traverse through several forms.

I notice that when I have my Object Explorer (Tables, Forms, Reports, Query Listing) closed or minimized some of my navigation buttons (used to close current form and open next) are unrecognizable by Access.
I can't click them at all.
However, when I expand the Object Explorer they work and are clickable.

What am I missing? Is there an option that I don't have set correctly for the button to work in either

    Thanks

Never encountered that. If you want to provide db for analysis, follow instructions at bottom of my post.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
