How can I get rid of the boxes around every field on the report and make the single detail line have less space is that somewhere on the properties sheet for the detail line?

How can I get rid of the boxes around every field on the report and make the single detail line have less space is that somewhere on the properties sheet for the detail line?

I was able to get rid of this by changing the boarder style on each field to transparent.
