    Web compatible split form

    Hello,

Is there a way to design a "web compatible" split form? I am having trouble using a form/subform design which doesn't seem to have the same functionality. In my database I have a number of "parts" that are associated with different records. When I select a record, I want to see all of the parts that are associated with that record. There are around 30 data points for each part so displaying them in only datasheet view does not work well. So I wanted a form that would show a datasheet view on the bottom for easy navigating between parts. And, a top section with more room to show all of the details on a single part. The split form is pretty much exactly what I am looking for but it is not web compatible. I need a solution that can be uploaded to my SharePoint site.

    Any thoughts?

    Thank you

Have you heard of Data Scaffolding templates? This may have what you want to do available. You may also want to look into subdatasheet in datasheet view to view related datapoints found in a related helper query.

You could make a webpage that operated in the same way. Im not so sure how to achieve it on sharepoint though.
