    Search Form

    Ok,

So I have a properly working Search Form working based on unbound text boxes. Is there an easy way once the user runs the query to keep the results from it in a smaller window?

    For example,

    I have:

    Fiscal Year
    Class Number

These are two of the most important fields in said unbound text boxes. When the query is run, it gives me a giant datasheet of results. I want to keep the results in a smaller window. I am also trying to put this schedule search form as a subform so users can lookup a class/course data and then manually place the data on the existing form.

Use a form or report with the query as RecordSource.

    June,

Would this mean creating another form to display the results? Slightly confused. The Search form is built like this:

Name:	Search Form.jpg
Views:	19
Size:	74.6 KB
ID:	19950

And it gives me results like this:

Name:	Search2.jpg
Views:	19
Size:	108.0 KB
ID:	19951

I want to try and keep the results in window as well so my underlying form is still visible (said underlying form is not in the screenshot).

Secondly, the ideal endstate would be to copy a specific record based on the search query results to another table but I think I may have a solution to that using an append query.

That's a good video but not applicable. I will sanitize my db and upload a baseline copy to show you what I mean/need.

I can't look at db until Mar 23. If you still need help then, make another post to get my attention.
