Specific Type of record shown if box contains!

Hi I have a Income Input Form. I enter a specific amount of Income per person and in a final Text box I type T or t which means Teaching, or I type E or e which means Entertainment. When I place this in a query for a report to show both t and E, or just t or just E.

Whats the best way of doing this.

    Thanks

    Grant
