Help with a bound text box

Hi guys

this is simple question. I'm working with this new access 2013 and I just can't get it to bound a text box to another table in a form. Should be something simple.

So i created a form based on a table and just want to add a text box that would look at the value from another table. I click on the control source but it doesn't give me the option to change the tabl. I look at the form properties but I don't find where is that you can add existing fields from the other tables. It let me select other tables but then it changes all the values in the form to the other table which is wrong. I only want for that particular text box to look into other table.

Unless your "other" table can be properly joined with the current table in a query, your option is limited to domain functions. (DLookup, etc)
