Macro to move a line of data from one table and it to another table - Access 2010

Hi

I have a form where I log support calls. When the call has been completed, I want to be able to click on a button which will take the support call from this form and populate a table called "Completed calls".
There is no macro in Access's built in macros which will allow me to do this.
What is the easiest way of resolving this?

In a normalized db you'd leave them in one table and change a status field. That said, to move a record you could execute an append query and then a delete query, both with a criteria to select the desired record.

Agree with Paul, don't move records - big pain. Set value of a field and apply filter in queries.

Thanks for your help. The reason I asked this is because if you have 500 supports calls and 495 have been completed, you still have a form with 500 supports calls, whereas I just wanted a "completed table" with 495 calls and the "incompleted table" to just show 5 support calls.pbaldy's idea is a good one if I did decide to use two tables.

I would probably have a single table and a form based on a query that returned only the incomplete calls. I'd only go with two tables if there was to be a massive number of records (like millions).
