Type mismatch (Error 13) in combo box

I have this very strange error. I have a combo box field for 'Year' (1994 all the way to 2014). This combo box source is from a table called tblYear. Now, since this is a new year, I added 2015 and 2016 to the table.


I see 2015 and 2016 when I go to the form combo list. However, when I choose 2015 or 2016, I get the ERROR 13 message. I do not get the message when I choose 2014 or any year before that.

Is this a BOUND combobox for data entry?

Have you run Compact & Repair?

Do you mean you added 2015 and 2016 as FIELDS to a table or as data to one specific field?

Year is a reserved word. Should not use reserved words as names. http://allenbrowne.com/AppIssueBadWord.html

I added 2015, 2016, and 2017 to the table and the combo box in the form is based on the table.

Looks OK. I agree with June...... Need to have the database to analyze.
