How to insert a line in an Access database

Difficult to understand what you want exactly. Access has a line control (geometric figure) to draw lines on form or report.

You don't. Not if you are talking about a table. Access table is not like a spreadsheet. Unlike rows in a spreadsheet, records in Access table do not have a defined order. Records in Access table are like dropping Lego bricks in a bucket. Records in table are ordered by sort criteria in a query.
