I understand how to make EXE, but how do you make it a pro app!?

Hi ppl!

Making my first DB and learning crazy lots, crazy fast!

Maybe i misunderstood access, but i was under the impression you could export as an exe and then you can run your DB using the forms created..
I have looked at exporting it but from what i have seen of tutes, you export then make your form full screen but its not like it is an independent program... its still access behind your pretty forms.

I dont think im being very clear, obiously access is running it all, but my work program (inventory) apparently is access/SQL based and it runs and looks like an everyday program, not like forms running in from of the access program..

Anyon even understand what I mean? I know my question im just failing to verbalise it!!!

No, your company prog has most likely been created from another application - vb, c++ or others and it does run as an exe. Access files are not like that, but you can make it almost look like that.

yeh thats good Amrut, i think maybe i need to look at sql with C++ front end though for what i want
