Dear June7! Finally you gave me the solution through a long exchange of threads, and it's far more than I expected when I started this thread! I'm extremely happy for this solution, because I have been looking for it for more than two years. In my practice I just combined different tables in a query and was unaware that I also could combine two queries. This will ease my work very much and my whole project will look much more elegant and I will be able to share it with other schools - for which the database is created! Thank you very much! It is a final distance to go to update all the reports and detail fields, but the new key query is functioning and that's the breaking point. Regards from Roar58
