Split Forms and Tab Controls/Navigation Panes

    Hi,

I am trying to create a split form that shows the Main table of my database. I would also like to, above the split form, create a Form that allows Tab Controls or Navigation panes.

Everytime that I create tab controls, they never work and I am only able to view 1 tab or 1 navigation pane, despite having clearly more than 1.

Is this a common issue? Is there a work around to this?

    Help is appreciated.

    Thanks

I just tested this. Had no problem putting a tab control in split form header section and subform on the tab control

Also no problem with a subform that has tab control and a form on the tab control.

    Looks rather complicated.

    I don't like and don't use Navigation form/control.

    Cannot replicate your issue.

Hm, anyway you can send me the accdb where you did this so I can see if it matches up with what I'm looking for? If it does, can I use it? Chances are something is wrong with my Database if its not allowing me to do it for whatever reason.

Actually, it works if I put the Control Tabs in the form header, but not the body of the form itself.

That's because the 'body' is a datasheet.

Interesting... Well. thank you. At least it works when I create the Control Tabs in the Header. I think I can work with that.
