Query drawing data into a Vs report - Not working!

    Good day all

I am a beginner to Access and have already built x2 databases myself.
Learned everything off the net and the databases are going well.

But now I have a situation that I am having difficulty in getting to work.
Could anyone kindly point me in the right direction please?

I have a database that is based on a yearly sporting competition.
The competition contains roughly 15 teams with records going back 4 years now.

I have already written a query for each team, that when I run it, it shows a selected team and every opponent they have played against in the last 4 years.

But the query that I'm looking at building, is selecting 2 specific teams and having their games alone being displayed.
I am having such difficulty in getting this right, that if I have not spent the last 3 months building it, I would delete the whole thing.

    Can anyone please help?

    Many thanks in advance.

    Oh well...

I am a bit closer now, but not there yet...

What I have done is, in my query I opened the design view.

I have a column called Winning team and a column called losing team.
I placed the identification number for 1 team under "Criteria" under winning team and placed the identification number for the other team under "Or" in the loosing column.
This present a new problem, I get 2 outcomes. Either team 1 is displayed as a winner, and not a looser.
I need to get a query going that shows Team 1 and Team 2 on the same query as a winner and a looser.

How would I write that under "Criteria" and under "Or"?

    Many thanks

    I think I have it!

Under the winning team column I have Team 1 in "Criteria" and Team 2 in "or"
Under the loosing team column I have Team 2 in "Criteria" and Team 1 in "or"

And walla!!!! When I run my report it shows the selected 2 team's history only!

Now to figure out how to close this post....
