    Creating a Form with Attachments

Is there a way to create a form in Access that filters a list of names from a table that has certain attachments linked to them?

I have a list of members, and have PDF attendance rosters attached to each name. I'm trying to create a form that has a combo box that will let me select individual attachment documents and then show a list of names that's linked to that attachment. Is this possible?

I can run a query and have it sort by attachment, but that's not really something that will work for me

What do you mean by 'attachment' - documents are embedded into record in attachment type field?

Yes, each record has a number of PDF files attached to their respective attachment field. I'm asking if there's a way to create a form that allows me to select a specific attachments in a combo box and then populates the form with the list of records that has that attachment in their attachment field.

An attachment field is a type of multi-value field. Multi-value fields can be expanded by query.

    See if this helps https://support.office.com/en-US/Art...rs=en-US&ad=US

Embedding lots of large documents into db can use up Access 2GB file size limit fast.
