Access Massive Data Lookup

Hi,



I am a very beginner for Access. I have created a database with a list of product codes, pricing, costs, and supplier name. Now I have about 100 product codes which I would like to look up for all those information. Is there an effective way to do it in Access? I know I could export the whole datasheet to Excel to do a vLookup, but it may be lots of waiting time if the data are massive. Appreciated for your answer. Thanks.

Why do you need to do lookup? What exactly are you trying to accomplish? Maybe you just need to do a query that joins tables.

Further to June's question/comments, 100 codes is not massive in general Access terms. Readers really need to have more info about what you are trying to do in order to offer assistance. Just curious why you would consider moving the data to Excel? You have the data in Access, so use Access.
