The Data Macro ‘comments.addcomment’ Could Not Be Found

    Afternoon.

    Hope someone can help here.

I have taken the Issues Web Database Template from Access 2010 and converted to a desktop version.

I split the database, back end & front end.

Now, when I go into front end and try to add and save a comment I get the message- “The data macro ‘Comments.AddComment’ could not be found”

Hope someone has a solution for me. My knowledge is limited so if there is a solution please can you tell me what I need to do in the back end and front end. Pretty much the dummies guide really.

    Ross

As I understand them, Data Macros cannot work with linked tables, but I've never used Data Macros. Instead of Data Macro, put code behind the form - macros or VBA.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
