Field repeating in every row of subform

I attached a sample of my database just to make it a bit easier to describe my issue. I'm working on a vehicle and equipment database and I'm having issues with a subform. When I add attempted to use the drop down in my main form, it populates every single row in my subform with my choice. I've attempted to redo my lookup filed associated with the field, but with no success. I'm guessing it is a relationship issue, but not sure.

The form is called Apparatus and it is the drop down associated with the label "Model".

You have a split form, not a sub form....you need to add the sub-form to the MAIN and link the keys.
This could stop the repeating field.

Actually the problem is that the 'Model' Control is Unbound; the Value in one Unbound Control is the Value for that Control in all Records. You need to Bind the 'Model' Control to a Field in the underlying Query/Table in order for it to be record-appropriate.
