An Attachment field will allow storing PDF file in record. However, storing large files in database can use up Access 2GB size limit very fast.

Can use FileSystemObject to navigation to file and save the path and/or filename in record. This will require VBA. Use of FileSystemObject is fairly common topic.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
