You want to embed a SUBFORM. (not a rectangle)

Name:	subform.png

Size:	7.7 KB
ID:	16601
set the link masterfield to a key on the main form
set the link child field to a key on the sub form/report

Also use a wizard, then when you place the subform, it will help.

    Or

Open main form in Design View. Drag the form you want as subform from the Navigation Pane onto the main form, set the Master/Child Links properties of the container control.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
