    Search changes the main table

I have an odd thing happening, my search form when I do a search in it to filter for something, it will change the first line in my main table. I am wondering if maybe I should create a query instead for this search form because I find this really irritating that I have to fix the table everytime.

Sounds like the controls on the search form are bound to the fields in the table. The control source property settings should be blank.
If this helped, please click the star at the bottom left of this posting and add to my reputation . Many thanks.

That was it. So if you have a data entry form then you use bound and a search form you use unbound it sounds like. Thanks for the help........thank god it worked.
