I apologise for the late reply. The issue I am having is with activity 21 in Chapter 7.5 page 80 . Create actual stock table. The problem is with understanding the question actually. I dont understand what exactly is asked in the specified question.
Don't have the book. You will have to provide details. Post the full question as presented in the assignment.

ok. Create actual stock table:
Create a Make Table query to make a table, called tblStockCheck, that can be used for recording the physical stock quantity after a stock check. It should initially contain the stock number, location and the stock amount counted as actually being in stock. Call it 'qryCreateStockCheckTable'. The bold part is the one I dont understand. There is a field in the stock table called quantity which is the stock that is currently present.)
How is the value in the stock table determined? By code that programmatically adds and subtracts as items are acquired/used?
This new table will have quantity as determined by physical count on-the-shelf.
Very weird exercise and teaching non-conventional concept. Review http://allenbrowne.com/AppInventory.html
What is edexcel A2?
