Noob to be helped with Forms and Queries

Hello everyone. Im new to access, I have version 2010. I tried to do a form and a search query by following a tutorial. I've gone through it a thousand times and restarted it several times, and at the end my form never works. When I click on a "search" button in the form, it brings up a query, but is empty.. no matter how I input the info...

Anybody knows why this happens? how can I fix it?

Controls on form for purpose of entering criteria must be UNBOUND, otherwise you change the data in record.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.

Hi and thank you for replying. Another quick question though, where do I change it to UNBOUND?

Remove the field reference from the ControlSource property.

Hi June7... I changed it.. but as soon as I hit ok, it brings up a "Sintax Error" warning. Could it be something else?

Just removing reference from ControlSource of each textbox should not produce that error.
