    Default Subform Value

    Hi everyone,
I am currently working on a job tracking database, and I am having some issues with a subform. I currently have a Customer form that contains fields for their Name and Billing Address. Inside of that form I have a Lead subform that links via the CustomerID. This subform contains fields for the Lead Address. (With our customers, the Billing Address is always the same while the Lead Address can vary lead to lead.) I would like to find a way to have the default value of subform Lead Address fields to be the same as the Billing Address unless it is changed manually. Any ideas?

Do you have a table of Addresses - all addresses, billing or otherwise?

No, I don't. The thing is, the job address and billing address aren't actually related in the database. They just happen to be the same most of the time, so I was trying to limit the time it takes to enter the information and reduce errors. The Customer ID is linked to the Lead Table through the Customer ID. I can't link it through the address, because the Billing Address won't change, but the Lead Address can change every time. I could make a table to house all the addresses, but that could get a little confusing, since both the Billing Address and Lead Address would be referred to as Address ID...

Don't know why the AddressID would be confusing. User has a combobox to select address for billing and another combobox to select address for lead. AddressID is saved into field the combobox is bound to. A query would include the address table twice, each linked to billing or lead foreign key field.

I just want to be sure that that won't cause any future problems, since it seems to form a sort of circular relationship structure between the Address, Customer, and Lead tables...

Not really a circular relationship. Address table would be the data source for two different data elements.
