    Cosmetic problem on subform

Guys there is something annoying in my subform's.

My subform on a report contains four fields and one of those field's background is white, the rest is ...blue... for some reason.
Now im not a novice at Access thus i know where to change fields backgrounds so i tried altering them.

The result is stunning.. Now i have the same effect on the subform on my form as well (the form is the source for the report).

Is this a bug or am i missing something ?

Hmm ive started Googling on this problem and it seems that it is a common problem. It has something to do with alternative rowcolouring in the format Tab of the design mode of your form or report.
However, that section is greyed out to me.
Anyone know why it would be greyed out ?

I feel like im talking to myself here but im getting closer to the solution of my problem.
I noticed that only the first record in the subform had this problem. When i select another record in my subform, all those fields become blue. So.. as it turns out the first row of the subform is selected and therefore colored.

I still dont know (yet) how to turn that off, but understanding what causes a problem makes it easier to the solution.

How do i stop the subform from automaticly "selecting" the first record ?
