nested iif

Hi all. I am using access 2010. I have inherited a database that uses nested iif statements to create a letter in the report object. I having trouble adding a couple of calculated fields and text to the letter. Do anyone have any knowledge of this type programming to help me please. ex.

=[txt]iif(is not null[something]>=0,[txt1] &"Run cat run"&.......

I will have a better example once I can get someone to help. thank you

None of that makes sense. Explain in plain English the result you want.

General syntax of IIf is:

=IIf(expression is true, do this, else do this)

Other functions you might find of interest are Switch() and Choose().
