    Regarding Multi User Enviornment

    Hi All,

I am new to Ms Access and working on a Access Project. This is nothing but some modification to the Task Planner template of MS access 2010.What my doubt is, will it work in a multi-user environment where around 20-50 user using it simultaneously. I had a discussion with a person who knows Access and he is in the opinion that it will fail in multi-user environment. He is telling that to be multi-user, it needs some special coding related to multi-user environment, which again will take a lot of time to compile. Is it so? If so can, someone provide any link, material or atleast key words to search so that I can learn on that area.

Any quick reply is really appreciated as I am running short of time to either finish it or leave it.

    Thanks in Advance

What you want to research is split database.

I do have an all-in-one (non-split) db with multiple users (usually no more than 3 at a time) and it does work but there is zero code (macro or VBA). It is a very simple design.

Recommend split db for your situation.
