    I want to thanks everyone here who helped the very rusty developer get this old Access 2003 app running. I solved the problem by replacing SendKeys with the Dropdown method. That worked. I assume I'll find more issues as I use the app, and if so you'll hear from me again :-) But for now it's put to bed.
