cannot open tables, queries in design mode...WTH??

Hi, this is perplexing. Other machines in the office can open them, but I cannot! I created them, I'm the guy who modifies them, but my machine now just sits and spins. any other machine, no problem. Mine- Not Responding.



Thoughts??

I've also noticed that when I scroll up and down in the object navigator, it has some sort of "recoil." Annoying, but not nearly the crisis that the above is.

Have someone run a compact/repair on the database and try it again.

I should have asked first if this is a split database? Is each user running their own copy of the frontend? Did you replace your copy with one of the working copies?

Then it escalates

Ick. Yeah, it's split, each user with a different front. But I cannot even open the local ones. No table, no query. Very odd. I'll try repair and compact and send back to myself.
