Combo Box Not selecting value

I have a combo box in a split form. The combo box is in the form's header. I have a list of values to choose from. I click the drop down arrow and the values then are displayed. I try to click on a value but nothing happens. The drop down list just stays there without selecting the value I click on. How do I fix this or why is this happening?

Possibilities:

form Allow Edits property is set to No

form is bound to a non-editable RecordSource

combobox Locked property is set to Yes
