Looking up a value from multiple values.. should be easy, but I'm stumped

Hi, first time poster and a access newbie.
I appreciate any help I can get.

I have a Customer table with the normal customer info, name phone.

Each customer has one or several parts. so I have a parts table.

I have a service table and form.

The service form contains the service number along with customer number.
Each service has a service detail subform for service to the customers part.

The problem I'm having and It seems to me to be an easy answer but it has escaped me totally. When I go to the Service detail form I want to pick the specific customers part.
I cannot just select from the particular customer, but have to pick from a list of parts from every customer. I just want to see the parts from a certain customer that I have selected from the service order form.

I apologize for not being technally savvy in my dialogue and hop it's not to vague.
    I thank you inn advance.

    K

Sounds like you want cascading (dependent) comboboxes. Review http://www.datapigtechnologies.com/f...combobox2.html
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.

Thank you and that is somewhat, what I was looking for, but of course it's unbound and I need to make it stick.
Of course I"m trying to figure out how to bind it.
