    Datasheet Sum Again Sorry

Hi My last question was solved but have another question relating to it sorry.

I have achieved a sum of the records from the datasheet as per my last post this sums the records OK for each Main record. What I would like to do is to also have an overall total of all records if possible. I have tried various syntax combinations but get error. So it would basically be to sum the results in a text box.
Hope this is quite easy to follow.

    Thanks again for your help.

You will probably need to run a query to count number of records then display that in the text box

Ok Thanks I will have a look at both options. Just getting to grips with access so would do me good to have a go at both.
    Thanks.

    Thumbs up

I created a report and added a sum at the bottom which done the trick.
    Thanks.
