How to Select entire cell contents in a form?

For the form I have, when I tab, the entire next cell/field contents is selected - which is what I would like to happen when I click on a different field.


How do I select the entire cell contents when you click on afield?

Requires VBA. Example:

Private Sub cbxStrengthUnits_Enter()
Me.cbxStrengthUnits.SelLength = Len(Nz(Me.cbxStrengthUnits, ""))
Me.cbxStrengthUnits.Dropdown

If the control has only one word in it, you can double click the control and the entire word will be selected.
If the control has multiple words (ex: control for Part Number has "Oxygen Sensor"), double clicking only selects the last word or the word clicked on.

Otherwise, as June said, will require code.

I think there is a global setting in Access that determines if all of the text is selected or if just one word. Not sure if it is associated with click or associated with tabbing into a control. I believe it is Client settings.

The only relevant Client Settings property I see is Behavior Entering Field. However, doesn't work when clicking into control.
