Can I Hide Columns in a Form without hiding them in the Related Table?

I have a form with an embedded table. I only want certain columns from that table displayed on the form. When I hide the columns in the form, they are also hidden when I view the actual table. Is there any way to hide the columns in the form but not in the table? I am very new to Access.

Just create a Continuous Form, add the Fields you want, make it look like a datasheet view then add it as a subform.

You should be able to turn on the "Visible" or "Enabled" on the Textbox.

    Visible: will hide/unhide.

Enabled: will allow you to see but not to edit.

Alex, the continuous form worked perfectly! Thank you both for your quick responses.

You can hide columns while in datasheet view also. You would think this is something that would be managed in edit view but it is not. If I recall, in DS view you can right click the column header. I believe it is "Hide"
