Help in a form to access date

Hello people,



I've tried to create a form that users can select their own name (employeeT) and the actual date.


These two parameters are the input fields to create a query to overview the already filled in hours ( activityT).

The selection of the user is no problem, but don't know how to create a calendar overview.

Can somebody help/ give me a simular example?

What do you mean by 'calendar overview' - weekly, monthly? Post an example of the desired output.

Hello, at the end it should look like this.

An employee selects his own name, and can select a date. (default = today)
The system gives an overview of his already filled in hours for that day.
He can add new lines, and change existing.

Is it clear what i want to reach?

You want an easy way to pick a date value? Access used to have a calendar control for that purpose but I thought it was dropped with 2010. However, I think the date picker popup is still available. Format a textbox for date and the date picker should be available.

Using the criteria to retrieve the desired record can be done by:

1. dynamic parameterized query (I never use this method)

2. code (macro or VBA) that opens form or report filtered by reference to the input controls (I use VBA to construct filter string)
