    Retreive Access Password

    Hi

I have inherited an access database (xp) with some asp code
Which includes an initial login screen

I have no idea what the password is.
Is there a way for me to find out what the password is either via some asp code or some other way

    Thanks

Is the file an mdb or accdb (not mde or accde)? Try holding down the shift key while opening the file. This should bypass project optional settings and automated code and you can view design and code.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.

Did you try holding down the shift key like June7 suggested? Try highlighting the file with your mouse and then hold down the shift key while you press enter and wait for the program to open.
