Access rounding data when I export...

I have a large query, and for some reason, certain records are being rounded when I try to export to text. The data looks fine in Access, but if I review the text file certain records are altered. For instance, .0226 becomes .02. But this doesn't happen with all records...in fact, most are fine and extend back to the four, five or six decimal places.

Any idea why this is happening and how to prevent it?

How are you exporting the records?
Are you using an Export Specification?
If so, it may be that certain fields on it are set to export a certain way. You may want to rebuild the Export Specification.

Found a solution. Apparently you have to go to your Control Panel>Region and Language>Formats>Additional Settings, and change decimal places there.

That doesn't make sense to me. If the issue was that, I would think that it would affect all your data output, not just some.
Unless you are exporting some numeric data as Text, as others as Numbers...

Hmm...everything in the field is the same type of data, so I don't think that's it. I'd definitely be curious to know why this seems to fix my problem though.

Do you experience the different behavior within the same field (column), or only between different fields?
Or, to put it another way, is there consistency within a single field (column)?
