My form had to enter new lines in the Activity Database

Hello all,

I've made an hourregistration in Access. The problem is in the design of the form of filling in the hours for the users, the wrong table is filled.

I want to update/ add the activity data and not the project data.

So I want to make a form that users can fill up a activity database and use projects in the project database.


Please can somebody help?

I have seen the Form and quite unable to get exactly what is there u want the form to do, Could you please explain label wise what you want to achieve? that will be nice

What i want to established:

A manager can fill in the Project database. That form is already ready. So as an administator i can fill up all the new projects that are new on our it department.

The second part is to make a form who can be filled in by the it employees. To fill in their ours what thay did every day on what project.

Herefore is the activity database created.

I just want a form that people can fill in their hours by selecting their name, choose their projects, select a date, and fill in the time spended.

Can somebody tell me why my form is mutating the wrong database?

I would like to add records in the Activity database and now the form is adding entries to the Project database.

Its because the Form which is opening have control source has join query and textbox is bound to feilds from Project table. When you enter the data it will end with adding up the Data in the table which you have provided the query. Correct the Form join query and retry. it will work.
