    Please help-problem with calculated controls

Hello, I'm a new member with a problem in MS Access 2010. In my Database assignment I created a custom form with a calculated control that displays the total number of records that appear in the subform. But the text box either displays the number of all records instead of the number of members enrolled in the class.
I have set the calculated controlTip Text property to Total number of members in this program and the Tab stop to No as it described.
I am trying to find the correct expression to give the numbers in each class, any help is appreciated. If anyone has the Microsoft Access 2010 Comprehensive book by Adamski & Finnegan, this problem is Case Problem 2 on page AC 354-the picture will give more details.

I hope I posted in the correct forum and I am very happy to find this forum.

The ControlTip Text is for people, not the computer. It could say "Blow Up Solar System" and it would have the same effect. Tab stop just determines what order the tab button will take the user through the different controls.

Please open the Properties window, Data tab, and post the information you find there about the data source for the control.(Control Source, Row Source, Bound Column if any.)

Where is the 'or' to go with 'either'? Should I read without 'either'?

The calculation returns total records of the main form? What is the expression in the calculated control?

Is each record in the subform for a single student?

Thanks for the suggestions, it turned out that the calculated control was located in the wrong place, it worked after it was repositioned.

Please reply to this thread with any new information or opinions.
