    Columns in Access

Is it possible to increase the number of columns in Access 10?

I upgraded MS Office because I knew Excel no longer restricted you to 256 columns.

Dumb me. I figured Access would do the same thing.

Reason: I often pull data from a data base that uses as many as 800 columns.

When I try to open these files I get a "too many cross tabs" error prompt.

No, the Access limit is still the same.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
