    Form View

I am using Access 2013. My forms work nicely, but in form view the whole screen is the color of the grid even though the grid is shrunk to the size of the data plus a small grid-border all around. Is it just the way Access 2013 is or is it display settings (currently set on lowest text size), or other?

I don't have A2013 but in 2010 you can right click the ribbon and select "Customize Quick Access toolbar". From there you can change various settings. In the General tab there is a color scheme you can choose. For instance, "Black" may offer you a contrast that is more suitable.

Thanks, ItsMe, but there is a related issue with my problem. The user tools remain at the bottom of the screen instead of under the new record form. Other suggestions welcome. --iball1113
