    error when running query

All using access 2010. I have a report that has been running with no problem.
Today all of a sudden; it gives off an error: Reserved error (-1524); there is
no message for this error. It;s a select query; not action. It runs when I run
the query from the query objects window but it's when I run it from the report
window. The only thing i could find its that one record in the table has chinese

characters and it won't let me delete it. Please shed some light. Also; When I try to delete it say the "search key is not found in any record". Thanks

Sounds like it may be corruption. Can you isolate the "bad record" and then delete then replace/recreate it?

What do you mean by isolate and delete? I google with no luck. Still trying. Thanks

    What I mean is
Can you determine the proper values for the fields in the record with "chinese characters"? If so, delete that record.
Create a new record with those exact values.
    Good luck.

Do you have a recent backup -- that's where I'd start to look.

Oh. I know where the corrupt record is but it won't let me delete it. I get another error when trying to delete it: search key is not found in any record.

Please reply to this thread with any new information or opinions.
