Update query Error

Hi All,

I designed the update query in 2007 and its stated the error "Cannont update 'Table Name'; Field not updatable.

Initially i tried doint with excel linked table, after this error, I googled about this, i came to know this is cos of lawsuit of MS;

so i created a temp table using vba n tried to execute the update query still facing the same problem.

Any perticular reason for this issue, cos when i tried it in Access 2010 it executed perfectly.

Hi All,

Just followed the siple gudeline givein in Access help.
Which solved this proble.
